Throughout the design of your Document Template you will be inserting both Basic Elements and Dynamic Elements.  The configuration of these elements will present  you with options to select data from your data source, apply dynamic and conditional formatting using dynamic properties, format fields, and more.  Because these types of options are commonly used for many different elements, we have created this section to provide usage guidance on the dialogs that will be used to accomplish these tasks.  Below are helpful sections on these common tools.

Edit Expression Dialog - this dialog is used for selecting data from your data source and even creating your own Expression.

Dynamic Properties - this dialog allows the application of formatting directly from your data source or even conditionally.

Formatting - this dialog is used to format fields you add to your document template.

Borders - this menu is used throughout the Publisher to add borders to elements.
