Some content objects that you can insert into your Document Template don't necessarily have to be based on your data source.  These objects are referred to as Basic  Elements.  Below you can find information on configuring and editing specific properties of each available Basic Element.

 

Widgets - If you have designed a dashboard in the Ecrion BI Architect, you can insert previously designed Widgets to be included in your document template.  This section helps you with inserting and configuring these Widgets.

Image - This section helps you with the options available to you when inserting an image.

Barcode - This section provides useful information on inserting barcodes into your Document Template.

Text Box - This section helps you understand inserting and using text boxes in your design.

Form - You can insert Form Elements in your Document Template, and this useful section will walk you through the process of setting up these interactive objects.
