Dynamic Elements

When designing your Document Templates in the Publisher you will need to work with elements that are dynamic.  The term Dynamic refers to an element with a dependency on your input data source.  This means that your document will change based upon these Dynamic Elements as your data source changes.  These are the components of your Document Template that will display both data directly from your data source and also conditionally show content based upon tests you can set up on your data.  This section of the help documentation is designed to assist you with inserting and configuring your documents' Dynamic Elements.

Field - A field is an inline element that displays data directly from your data source.

Table - Tables are used for structuring content on the page, static display of content, and relaying dynamic content in repeating rows.

Dynamic Sections - These sections of your document templates can repeat in a line or by paragraph and even conditionally display content.
