Ecrion Omni System is designed to be an easy to use environment to manage every aspect of your document production needs.  Before you get started with designing and managing your projects for document production, we recommend you familiarize yourself with some of the common terminology used throughout this help documentation.  In this section you will find helpful information highlighting some of the important terminology used when discussing Ecrion Omni System.

 

Environment - A defining feature of Ecrion Omni System providing organization and staging of document generation processes.

Module - Project management features in Ecrion Omni System are grouped into modules related to functionality.

Side Menu - The side menu allows navigation through folders and related features.

Toolbar - The toolbar provide quick access to the most frequently-used functions.

Details Window - The details window provides all details related to the item selected in the Side Menu.

Tasks - Tasks are customizable steps in your production workflow design.

Packages - Packages are used to preserve files and all of their assets at a point in time such that this particular occurrence can be secured, tested, and used to fall back on for future needs if necessary.

Versions - Ecrion Omni System supports file versioning within any Project.  When a modification is made and saved for any Project Asset, will create a new version and allow you to fall back to previous versions.
