Working With Packages

Ecrion Omni System provides the impressive capability of preserving your projects before and after any modification is made to any Project File. When you create a Package, you are preserving the current state of your document production project as well as providing the security for your organization to fallback to any Package that was testing successfully.

 

Packages will be used when Running Jobs, reviewing and approving edits to any Project Files,  and after testing is complete, Publishing to a production environment.  In this section, you can learn more about the following options available to you when working with Packages.

 

Creating a Package - Learn how to create a Package of your project in its current state.

Restore or Delete a Package - How to delete or restore previous Snapshots.
Working With Package Files - Access the specific file versions preserved in any given Package.

Using Packages in Review and Approval - Learn how Packages are used in the Review and Approval Workflow process.

Publishing a Package - Once a Package has passed testing, you can publish to another environment.

 

 

Whenever you select a project in Ecrion Omni System, you will have three main views to choose from at the bottom of the Side Menu.  Select the Packages Tab to begin your work with Packages.
