Restoring and Deleting Packages

Top Previous Topic Next Topic  Print this topic

Imagine a Package as taking a photograph of everything in your project exactly as it is at one specific moment in time.  At any point in time, you can restore a previous Package or simply delete it.  This may prove to be useful to you when testing a newer Package might fail and you need to restore a previous Package that has proven to test successfully.  When Restoring a Package, this will be used as the latest version when running a Project.

Deleting a Package

To delete a Package, you will need to access the specific Package in the Side Menu.

In the Side Menu, mouse over the desired Package to be deleted.
Select the down arrow located to the left of the Package name.
In the resulting contextual menu, select Delete.

Restoring a Package

A Package can be restored such that it will be the current set of files used when a workflow is triggered for your Project.  A common scenario is when an edit is made to any Project File that produces an error and some is needed to investigate.  A previously tested and error free package can be restored so production can resume.

In the Side Menu, mouse over the desired Package to be restored.
Select the down arrow located to the left of the Package name.
In the resulting contextual menu, select Restore.
