By default there will be a small map that is placed in the top right corner of each Map Chart that is inserted. This is map is helpful to show where on the full map you are as your dashboard user interacts with the Map Chart.
However, depending on you needs you may not wish to show this map.
1. Right click on the Map Chart that you want to open the Properties Pane for.
2. From the resulting contextual menu select the Properties option.

3. Select the Small Map target object in the Navigation Bar.

4. To hide the Small Map of the selected Map Chart, simply deselect the Display Small Map check box.

5. Similarly if the Small Map has been hidden and you would like to show it, select the Display Small Map check box.
