Now that you've completed the installation of Ecrion Omni System, it is now time to create your first Environment for testing. To do so, you will need to understand how to use the System Administration Setup Page. In this section of the documentation you can learn about using this page to accomplish these objectives.
Getting Started
To begin with, you should understand that the System Administrator Setup Page is for System Administrators only. If you are the System Administrator, then an Ecrion Software representative has given you the initial login credentials to access this page. You will need access to this page so that you can complete the following three tasks initially.
System Administrator Pages - learn about the available options to system administrators.
To access the System Administration Page, you will first need to open a browser and navigate to the following url: http://localhost:8091/setup.aspx
NOTE: If you have already configured your website name, this url can vary from localhost.
1. Change Your System Administrator password. You can learn about completing this operation in the System Administrator Account page of this section of the documentation.
2. Once this is complete, it is now time to create your first Environment. You will want to setup an initial environment just for testing the system to get started. To learn more about this step, visit the Environment Setup section of the documentation.
3. You should now take some time to familiarize yourself with all available options, including Repository Information, in the System Administrator Setup Pages.
Next Steps
Now that you've created an Environment to test, changed your system administration account, and familiarized yourself with the available options in System Administration Pages, it is now time to explore other configurations available in the Management Console. You should now visit the Setting System Configurations section of the documentation to learn more.
