Overview: The Open Document dialog allows the user to explore a Repository located under Source Control and open a document.

 

Accessing: This dialog can be displayed by selecting the Explore Repository button, located in the Source Control section, under the File tab.

•Repository - the user can access the desired repository by selecting it from the drop-down list. In order to explore a repository, it is mandatory to firstly add it to list of available repositories via the Manage Repositories dialog.
•User Name - displays the user logged on to the current repository.
•File Name - the name of the file to be opened.
•Files of type - the type of files to be opened. In this case, .dax files.
•Refresh - refresh the current repository, updating the file's status.
•Manage - opens the Manage Repositories dialog.
