Visualization Widgets

In order to display your data in powerful and meaningful ways, you will need to insert Visualization Widgets. These widgets will display your data in the form of tables, charts, gauges, and other variations. This section is to assist you in finding information on how to insert a Visualization Widget, but also where to find helpful information on configuring each.

 

NOTE: As you have connected to an In-Memory Data Base, this will be the only option for the Source for any of your Widgets

 

Ecrion Design Studio BI Architect supports the following types of visualization widgets:

 

Chart - Display series of data in a graphical manner.

Map Chart - Geographically represents database information.

Table - Display related data in a table format, with rows and columns.

Pivot Table - An easy way to summarize and group data.

Cross Table - The ideal way to compare series of data in a side by side format.

Gauge - Can be used to determinate, estimate, or evaluate your data.

Custom Widgets - Can be used to add indicators to your dashboard that will update based on filter selections.

Text - Used to display informative text.
