Customize borders in a table

Top Previous Topic Next Topic  Print this topic

Overview:

Sometimes the rows/cells borders must be individually modified in order to get a better look over the table or to make a point over some information.

Solution:

The easiest way is to do this is using the Navigation bar.

1. The user can select from there the desired element (fo:table-cell, fo:table-row or xfd:table-row-repeat if a repeating table is inserted) and use the Table Tools contextual tab.

2. Under the Design tab the Borders group contains the Borders button. The list of options provided by this button will allow the user to customize the table's borders.

3. Also, the border's width and color can be customized suing the Width and Pen Color located in the Borders group under Design tab.
