Once a file is added to your Project or Folder, there are a variety of different actions available to you. You may find a need to simply Delete a project file at any point. There are a few different ways that you can access the option to delete any file, and in this section we'll highlight how to accomplish this objective.
Using the Side Menu
To delete a file from Ecrion Omni System directly from the Side Menu, follow these simple instructions listed below.
• | Mouse over the file in the Side Menu and notice a small black down arrow for you to select. |
• | Click on this down arrow to access the file options provided to you through a contextual menu. |
• | Here you can simply select Delete also noted with a red 'X'. |

Using the Project Details Page
You can also access the option to delete any file from Ecrion Omni System directly from the Project Details Page. You will notice in this page that all of your project or folder files are displayed. For those files such as images, templates, and building blocks, you will notice a preview of this document to give you a visual representation of what the file looks like. Other files, like data files, will not have a visual indication. To delete any of these files from your Project or Folder, follow the steps highlighted below.
• | Mouse over the file in the Project Details Page. |
• | Select the black arrow located to the right of the file name to access the File Options contextual menu. |
• | Select the Delete option also noted with a red 'X'. |

Delete Confirmation
Regardless of how you choose to access the Delete File option in Ecrion Omni System, you will be provided with an additional dialog to ensure that you do want to delete the selected item. You can abort the deletion task by selecting Cancel or select Yes to proceed with deleting this file from your Project or Folder.
