It is important to have a solidified understanding of the data that resides within your In-Memory Database tables in order to properly design your Dashboard Widgets. Because of this need, you can easily access a preview of this data directly from the Dimensions Dialog.
From the Dimensions Dialog you will be able to see the data fields that are available in your database tables, as well as an small icon next to each dimension name denoting what data type the field is.
This icon indicates that the value for the dimension is a Date. |

This icon indicates that the value for the dimension is a Number. |
|
This icon indicates that the value for the dimension is a Text Value. |
From the BI Architect you are able to preview your data that resides in the tables of the attached database.
1. Select the eye icon that is located next to the tables name.

2. A browser tab will be launched to allow you to view the data that is in the selected table.
