Insert Page Numbers

Overview: The dialog can be used for inserting the current Page Number and Page Count.

 

Accessing: To display this dialog, the Page Number or Page Count buttons located in the References group under the Insert tab must be selected.

 

page_numbers             inser_page_count

 

The Page Number option inserts the current page's number and the Page Count option the total number of pages.

The number's Format can be chosen from various available types: Arabic (123), Alphabetical (ABC) or Roman (I II III).

 

Note:

•The numeral will be inserted at the current position of the cursor, including the Header and Footer positions. If it is inserted in the header\footer region, the number appears on every page of the page set.
