Insert XML/XSD

Overview: This dialog allows the user to insert XML data into the output. For this, the user will need an XML file and an optional XSD (XML Schema) file for validating the selected XML. This will create a hierarchical data source from the XML data according to the schema.

 

Accessing: This dialog can be accessed by selecting the XML button located in the Other Data Sources group, under the Home tab.

If the user has both the XML and XSD, the XSD and XML Files option must first be selected and then the files assigned.

Notes:

•It is recommended that all XML files are accompanied by their schemas.
•When running the document in Data Aggregation Server, the user can override the XML. See the Ecrion Data Aggregation Server help for more information on how to override diagram properties.
