Insert dynamic hyperlinks

Overview:

Sometimes it is compulsory to insert hyperlinks related to different links from the input XML.

Solution:

1. In order to do this the Hyperlink button located in the Reference group under the Insert tab must be selected.

2. The Insert Hyperlink dialog will be displayed where the hyperlink's Display text and Address can be customized.

3. To assign a dynamic value to the hyperlink's address, the ".." button located at the right side of the Address field must be selected and the Property Value dialog will be displayed.

4. To browse in the XML Data Source for the field that holds the value, the arrow button located at the right side of the Dynamic value from input XML must be selected.

5. The Edit Expression dialog will be displayed and the XPath for the desired field can be chosen.

Below is an example provided for a better understanding of the process.

The following XML data source is used:

The XPath used for the address is set in the Property Value dialog.

Note:

•	If the user wants the hyperlink to have the display text from the input XML, the same steps as the ones described above must be followed for the Display Text field.
