Overview: The Edit Constant dialog allows editing the type and value of a Constant function.
Accessing:
There are two ways to display the dialog:
| • | double clicking on the Constant function's representation in Design View. |
| • | right clicking on the Constant function's representation in Design View and selecting the Edit Constant option. |
The type is selected from a drop-down box and is a primitive type (int, long, ulong, string, byte, Boolean etc).
The value is required to be of the Result Types specified in the pull-down menu.
Note:
| • | Dates must be entered in the YYYY-MM-DD format. For example, for January 7 2001, 2001-01-07 must be entered. |
